  • 2 ripe pears, halved and cored

  • 1 tbsp honey, divided
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and lightly caramelised at the edges, basting once with the pan juices.

Step 3 — Baked Pears with Greek Yogurt & Walnuts
4

While the pears bake, stir the vanilla into the yogurt and chop the walnuts.

5

Remove the pears from the oven, let them cool slightly, then spoon the yogurt into the centre of each half.

6

Drizzle with the remaining honey, scatter over the walnuts, and serve warm.

Baked pears with Greek yogurt and walnuts is a warm, naturally sweet breakfast or light dessert — soft cinnamon-spiced pears roasted until caramelised, spooned with cool vanilla yogurt, crunchy walnuts and a drizzle of honey. Light, filling and ready in about 35 minutes.
