Blueberry Banana Kefir Smoothie
A thick, creamy 450-calorie kefir smoothie with blueberries, banana, oats and peanut butter — 20g protein per glass, ready in 5 minutes.
Nutrition per serving
Ingredients
- 400ml plain kefir
- 1 large ripe banana
- 150g frozen blueberries
- 40g rolled oats
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
Add the kefir, banana, blueberries, oats, peanut butter, honey and vanilla to a blender.
Blend 60–90 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
Taste and add more honey for sweetness or ice for thickness; blend again.
Rest for 2 minutes so the oats thicken the smoothie.
Pour into tall glasses.
Garnish with a few blueberries and serve immediately.
If gaining weight in a healthy way is the goal, this smoothie is the easiest win in my playbook. Kefir gives it a tangy, almost cheesecake flavor and a protein boost that milk can't match, while banana and oats make it thick enough to feel like a treat and keep you full for hours. A spoonful of peanut butter turns it into a proper calorie bomb — in the best way — and the blueberries stain it a gorgeous deep purple. At 450 calories and 20 grams of protein per glass, it's perfect after training or as a quick breakfast when mornings get away from you. Five minutes, one blender, zero cooking.
